The Media Foundation is a non-profit organisation committed to upholding freedom of speech in the media and in the country as a whole. It gives the prestigious Chameli Devi Jain Award for Outstanding Woman Media Person of the Year. It also holds the quarterly Media Dialogues and the annual BG Verghese Memorial Lecture.
